Conga Merge is one of the most popular AppExchange tools. It can be used for advanced reporting where the Salesforce.com reporting tools cannot provide similar functionality. For example, a custom link can be placed onto the Account Detail page; with a single click the user can generate a "snapshot report" of that Account with special layout and formatting. Conga merge can merge Salesforce.com data into Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, or Adobe Acrobat PDF file formats. While Conga Merge is very flexible, most customers find it challenging to create their own reports and mail merge templates without some initial instruction. This workshop gets you started on the way to using Conga Merge quickly.
Note: The student should be very familiar with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel, and basic mail merge methods.
